Rust is a film by Toby Rymkus. Loosely based on the short story of the same name by Guy de Maupassant, Rymkus initially filmed a feature-length version of the French classic over a one-week period in Bucks County, Pennsylvania (located one hour outside New York City). He held a private screening of a forty-minute cut of the film at the Tribeca Grand Theater in New York City for cast and crew members in November 2008. The 2009 Myrtle Beach International Film Festival is the world premiere of the final twenty-minute version of Rust.
